Southern Chicken Pot Pie Soup
All the flavors of chicken pot pie in a creamy soup with biscuit croutons.
Ingredients
- 2.00 cup cooked chicken , diced
- 1.00 cup frozen peas
- 1.00 cup carrots
- 1.00 cup potatoes
- 1.00 cup frozen corn
- 3.00 tbsp butter
- 3.00 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 4.00 cup chicken broth
- 1.00 cup heavy cream
- salt , pepper, and thyme to taste

Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.

Whisk in flour and cook 1-2 minutes.

Slowly pour in broth, whisking constantly.

Add potatoes and carrots and cook 15 minutes until tender.
