Fried Strawberries
Fresh strawberries dipped in funnel cake batter and fried golden.
Ingredients
- 2.00 cup fresh strawberries
- 1.00 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.25 cup sugar
- 1.00 tsp baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 0.75 cup whole milk
- 1.00 l arge egg
- oil for frying
- powdered sugar and chocolate sauce

Remove stems from strawberries and pat dry.

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Whisk in milk and egg until smooth batter forms.

Heat 2 inches of oil to 375°F.

Dip strawberries in batter letting excess drip off.

Fry in batches 1-2 minutes per side until golden.

Drain on paper towels.

Dust with powdered sugar.
