Pimento Cheese Grits
Ultra creamy grits swirled with homemade pimento cheese — a Southern dream.
Ingredients
- 1.00 cup stone-ground grits
- 4.00 cup water
- 1.00 tsp salt
- 2.00 tbsp butter
- 1.00 cup sharp cheddar
- 4.00 oz cream cheese , softened
- 0.25 cup pimentos
- 0.25 tsp cayenne pepper
- black pepper
Instructions

Bring water and salt to a boil.

Slowly whisk in grits.

Reduce heat and cook 20-25 minutes, stirring often, until thick and creamy.

Remove from heat and stir in butter, cheddar cheese, and cream cheese until melted and smooth.

Fold in diced pimentos.
