Ingredients

  • 3.00 medium yellow squash , sliced into rounds
  • 1.00 cup cornmeal
  • 0.50 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1.00 tsp salt
  • 1.00 tsp black pepper
  • 0.50 tsp garlic powder
  • 2.00 eggs
  • vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

    Mix cornmeal, flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

    Dip squash rounds in beaten egg.

    Dredge in cornmeal mixture.

    Heat 1 inch of oil in a skillet to 375°F.
