Ingredients

  • 4.00 ripe bananas , halved lengthwise
  • 4.00 tbsp butter
  • 1.00 cup brown sugar
  • 0.50 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.25 cup banana liqueur
  • 0.50 cup dark rum
  • vanilla ice cream

Instructions

    Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

    Add brown sugar and cinnamon, stirring until sugar dissolves.

    Add banana liqueur and stir.

    Add banana halves and cook 1-2 minutes until heated through.

    Remove skillet from heat.

    Add rum carefully.

    Return to heat and ignite rum with a long match — stand back.

    Let flames die down, spooning sauce over bananas.

    Serve immediately over vanilla ice cream.
