Sweet Tea Cake
A Southern sweet tea flavored layer cake with vanilla frosting.
Ingredients
- 3.00 cup all-purpose flour
- 1.00 tbsp baking powder
- 0.50 tsp salt
- 1.00 cup butter
- 2.00 cup sugar
- 4.00 l arge eggs
- 1.00 cup strong sweet tea cooled
- 2.00 tsp vanilla
- sweet tea glaze: 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar , 3 tbsp strong sweet tea, 1 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 350ยฐF and grease a bundt pan.

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

Add eggs one at a time.

Mix flour, baking powder, and salt.

Alternate adding flour mixture and sweet tea.

Stir in vanilla.

Pour into pan and bake 45-55 minutes until done.

Cool in pan 15 minutes then turn out.

Make glaze by whisking powdered sugar with sweet tea and vanilla.

Drizzle over cooled cake.

Let glaze set before slicing.
