Fried Sweet Potatoes
Sweet potato slices pan fried in butter with cinnamon and sugar.
Ingredients
- 3.00 l arge sweet potatoes , peeled and sliced
- vegetable oil for frying
- 0.25 cup brown sugar
- 1.00 tsp cinnamon
- pinch of salt
Instructions

Heat 2 inches of oil in a heavy pot to 350ยฐF.

Fry sweet potato slices in batches 4-5 minutes until golden and tender.

Drain on paper towels.

While still hot, toss with brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.

Serve immediately as a sweet side dish.
